While you are here in Thimphu, the Capital City of Bhutan, don't forget to take a stroll to the Memorial Chorten which was built in 1974 in memory of the third king His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck which died in 1972. The Chorten looks tall and beautiful as you make round the chorten. The Chorten serves the right place for older people and religious people to come worship the god and pay homepage to the deities. The Chorten is under renovation for the coronation in 2008.

Aww...the Chorten has gone bald now.Hope to see it better when the works are off.Y the way, I have never gone for a stroll over there.Hope to make it someday!
