It seems that Bhutanese dishes are healthy for those living in cold area like Himalaya but it seems too fatty for me, whi lives in tropical zones.

Moreover, it seems very spicy. What shall I eat in your country??

ah! yummy! :) i'm already hungry, ugyen...thanks for reminding what we eat at home :) and sorry for not being able to comment lately...

champagne> there are a few chinese restaurants in thimphu besides restaurants that serve continental dishes. there is even a thai restaurant in thimphu though the food would not be as delicious as in thailand. but i warn you, you will be disappointed if you are a fan of pizzahut, mcdonalds, kfc, starbucks, dunkin donuts, and other such establishments...for there are none :)

Hey Cine, Thanks Buddy, Well Bhutanese Food really Make My Tummy Go hard at them - SO Delicious,

Champagne,
You read What Cine Said, There is One Thai Restaurant which is located Just Above the Thimphu Traffic , Hopefully I could take few Clips and Post it Later. I guess Thai Food Would make a Different Taste for the Bhutanese But for Me, I can't Really eat Thai Food (Sorry for that), I ain't a Big Fan of Tomato Sauces and the Flavor, I guess There would be many Bhutanese Interested i Thai Food.

Will emailed you Champagne

Hi! Ugyen,

I was surfing the net looking for Bhutanese food and came across your wonderful blog. Your pictures of the delicious Bhutanese food really made my mouth water! :o)

I am actually from Darjeeling but have never tried Bhutanese food in my entire life. Growing up I had many friends from Bhutan in our school and they used to tell me all about Bhutanese food but I never got the oppertunity to try them.

Is there any way that you can share your precious recipe with us? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
